TLH – 25 Year Reunion Special

This weekend’s Last Hurrah is now available online, download it and subscribe to the show via iTunes.

It’s been 25 years since the cast and crew of The Last Hurrah gathered at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET), okay, maybe it’s only been two weeks but it feels like 25 years. With (emotional) years of behind-the-scenes spats behind them, the original cast of “The Last Hurrah” will reunite. They’ll look back on how things have changed since their last show, pay respects to deceased cast members, feature some stand-up comedy and make a little boy’s wish to relive the movie Space Jam come true. Sure, the show’s writers acknowledge that it’s awfully sentimental to host a reunion of this magnitude with only two weeks between shows, but why complain when you could be enjoying some free comedy?

TW: We talk about dolphin rape for a chunk of this episode, so be warned.

A Funeral for Mumps

Screen Shot 2014-11-27 at 11.36.20 AM

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved holiday mascot Mumps The Dying Turkey. Shortly after appearing on Fox 45’s Good Day Baltimore, Mumps collapsed in the parking lot of the WBFF studios. Paramedics arrived at the scene, not long after he was pronounced dead, the cause of death being onset Tuberculosis.

On Sunday Nov 30th at 7pm, The Last Hurrah will present the funeral and reading of the will for the late Mr. The Dying Turkey. All are invited to attend.
